I’m an explorer.
New places and experiences offer new perspectives, internally and externally. I was born and raised in Sweden, so maybe it’s my viking ancestry. I’m a founder of Shift and See, offering experiences in ocean, snow and yoga. I lead snow, surf, and dive adventures, and I’m also a certified yoga instructor.
I'm a guide.
I’ve been an outdoor guide and educator on rivers, oceans and mountains for 25 years, guiding and training guides in scuba diving, whitewater rafting, kayaking, snowmobiling and backcountry splitboarding.
I've guided on multiple rivers, among them the Middle Fork
of the Salmon in Idaho, the White Salmon in Washington and
the Chattooga in South Carolina. I've also been a backcountry guide in the Gros Ventre Range, Togwotee Pass, and
Yellowstone National Park.
I love to bring people outdoors, away from their comforts and help them shift.
I mean business.
I've built a business from the ground up–literally. I gutted a building, designed and built a restaurant in it. We won an award for its design, and started the movement to revive a transitional area into the vibrant commercial district it is today. I was the front of the house manager until I sold my share of the business and moved out West. I managed restaurants and staff for Vail Resorts in Park City, and Fine Dining, an innovative restaurant group in Jackson Hole.
I make a great
cocktail and I’m
a good listener.
For seven winter seasons, I was lead bartender at Lookout Cabin, Park City Mountain Resort’s premier on-mountain fine dining establishment. At 2,530 meters, we were voted the
#1 Ski-in / Ski-out Restaurant in North America. I've tended bar in various fine dining restaurants for about 18 years, designing specialty cocktails, wine lists, and keeping my guests happy.
